It’s designed to protect you from the sun and wind, while holding up against branches and prickly burs. On warmer days, you can wear it comfortably as an airy, loose-fitting shirt. Or when conditions call for it, as a windbreaker thrown over a base layer like our Octo Pullover.
Surprisingly lightweight given its durability, the Ripstop boasts an abundance of special features—roomy chest and mesh-lined slot pockets for stowing snacks and essentials, articulated elbows for effortless range of motion, ring snap closures, a vintage-style hem, signature DannerC bootlace loop on the collar for hanging, and a large mesh yoke liner with a ventilated gusset to help you keep your cool when the trail heats up.
