Size Guide
Most DannerC boots run true to size on a D (men’s medium) or women’s standard last. If you wear a half size in athletic shoes, start with that same number here.
Width
- Men’s D — Medium. The default on most work and hike styles.
- Men’s EE — Wide. Choose this if you already buy E or EE in other boots.
- Women’s standard — if you also shop the men’s last, many people go down 1.5 sizes.
Fit notes
A little heel slip on a new leather boot is normal; it should settle after a few wears. Toes should not jam the cap when you walk downhill. High instep: try a half size up or a wider last. Between sizes: the smaller size if the leather is Horween or similar full-grain that will relax.
